Linux & AD
I stumbled upon this article where the author stated that authentication against AD from a Linux machine was never that easy. I don’t know if you ever tried installing SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 (SLED10), but this product already had the ability to make your linux machine part of an AD network (from within the installation) and it also gives you the ability to work off line with your credentials and you can login into gdm , etc… with your windows login. But it’s nice to see Likewise opening up their product and i’m very interested how it will work out when they start to apply group policies on Linux…
